OUR HISTORY
est. 2000
It all started in 1999, when our founders Michael McMonagle and Brandi Swindell attended an international pro-life conference in Dublin, Ireland. They noticed that while every other country was represented by speakers in their mid to late twenties, the youngest speaker from the United States was 46!
This inspired them to create an opportunity for young men and women to build a culture of life through pro life and chastity education. Generation Life began speaking in the public, christian, and catholic middle schools and high schools in the year 2000, while also staying active in pro-life ministry and leadership. Since then, Generation Life has spread the good news of life and love across the United States and even internationally!
MISSION STATEMENT
We are committed to building a culture of life by spreading the truth that every human person is worthy of authentic love. Our speakers educate students, parents, and teachers on the dignity of human life and the virtue of chastity. By inspiring the next generation to embrace life and love authentically we will end abortion at its root cause.
OUR WORK
Our Generation Life team is currently comprised by our board, our full-time staff, and our team of part-time missionaries.
During the 2025-26 school year, we reached over 6500 students across 7 different dioceses with the truth about life and love. Over 90% of the students we talk to say that they have a stronger desire to be pro-life/practice chastity after hearing our talks. Besides delivering our presentations, we stand up for life by volunteering at pregnancy resource centers, praying outside abortion clinics, and participating in local marches. We also encourage conversations about true love and chastity through our annual Beach Outreach.
