- Eighth Grade Chastity Days (Held in May) (8th Grade only) This is a celebratory gathering of 8th grade students brought together to share in the "Yes" that they made to living out a life of sexual purity! This day-- held at local high schools-- is jam-packed with speakers, skits, music and comedy that present the chastity and pro-life messages in a fun and inspirational way. Being together with their peers is a unique source of encouragement for these students. Can't wait to see you there!! More information listed here.

One way that Generation Life is able to reach out to the community is through visiting parishes. We have spoken at numerous parishes throughout the arch- diocese for just a few minutes at the end of Sunday Masses with an information table set up in the back of church. Because of this, countless individuals and families have been encouraged by the chastity and pro-life messages and have also answered the call to action. Through this outreach, we have gained additional participation in the movement, increased awareness of Generation Life, and have been able to raise much needed financial assistance.
If you are a parish priest or administrator and would like for us to come to your parish for a 5 minute talk on Generation's Life enthusiasm in helping to build a culture of life, please give Matthew a call at 215-885-4669 or email mchominski@generationlife.org
Thank you all for your vocation and for your witness. Our hope is to join you in the task of building a culture of life.

Not Just Education!
Generation Life high school outreach is about much more than just classroom or school-wide presentations! We want your students to know that Generation Life is their movement, and because we are about both the chastity and pro-life messages, we try to work closely with the respect life clubs at the local high schools.
We offer presentations to respect life clubs give students the opportunity to learn more about our work as well as to encourage them to stay strong as pro-life leaders in their schools. Visits from Generation Life also provide a connection to the pro-life movement at large.
We can speak on a number of different topics such as:
- Introduction to Generation Life
- What to expect when praying at the abortion center
- The Chastity / Pro-life connection
- The history of the pro-life movement
- Theology of the Body for Teens
Teens want to put their pro-life convictions into action, and Generation Life provides opportunities for respect life clubs:
- Prayer at the Philadelphia Women's Abortion Center on 8th and Appletree on 4th Saturdays
- The annual Salt and Light Prayer Vigil in October
- Stand Up for Life Dinner in November
- Information regarding the March for Life in January
- Assist with 8th grade chastity days in May
- Chastity outreach during Senior Week at the Jersey Shore in June
- Invitation to join Generation Life's summer leadership conference in July

The Gen Life team of chastity educators is available to speak at school and community based programs and outreaches that your school may sponsor. Some of these programs may include:
- Back to school nights
- Home and school association meetings
- Health and wellness fairs
- Catholic Schools Week events
- Pre-prom parent and student meetings
- College fairs
- Mother/Daughter Teas and Father/Son Brunches
At these events, we are available to address parents either briefly or as the primary speaker. We can also host an information table where parents and students can meet some of the Gen Life staff, obtain parent and teen friendly literature, and ask questions. We will also make available a CD for parents on how to talk to their children about sexual purity.
Generation Life is specifically interested in offering parent support services. We firmly believe that parents are the primary educators of their children. A lesson in the classroom is only as good as its affirmation in the home, and Generation Life desires to partner with parents to foster and continually reaffirm the chastity message.
In the past few years, Generation Life has attended many of these special programs, and we found this to be mutually beneficial for parents, teachers and our staff.
Please contact Matthew Chominski, Education Coordinator, at215-885-4669 or email mchominski@generationlife.org for more information.
Generation Life is an educational organization. Donations of $500 or more assist with the materials and other expenses involved in our one hour classroom presentations. If you desire multiple classroom presentations or retreat packages, additional donation guidelines can be provided. We also request travel stipends for presentations beyond the southeastern Pennsylvania five county region.
"I congratulate you on the number of programs you have sponsored for our young people and I encourage you to continue to reach out to our youth with the important message of chastity and the value of human life. Please know that I will continue to pray fo the success of your ongoing programs for the young. I salute you for all that you do on behalf of life."
-- Most Reverend Joseph P. McFadden, Auxilary Bishop of Philadelphia,
"I am proud of the efforts your team makes on behalf of life and chastity. I have authorized Generation Life... be informed of my approval of this effort."
-- Most Reverend Michael A. Saltarelli, Bishop of Wilmington, DE
"You guys do absolutely great work. I've been working with high school students for almost five years now... teaching them, worshipping with them, hearing their confessions. I can say without any reservation whatsoever that your work is essential."
-- Rev. Matt Guckin, Campus Minister, Bishop Shanahan HS, Downingtown, PA
"Our children desperately need to hear the positive messages that your group spreads. Chastity and respect for life are not exactly the messages our children are receiving from the media, so you must wonder if your message is really getting through. Please know that the students are truly inspired after your visits!"
-- Parent of St. Aloysius grade school student.
"Earlier this school year, the eighth grade students at Mary, Mother of the Redeemer School were fortunate enough to have a visit from the Generation Life staff. This experience was worthwhile and meaningful... Since the visit from Generation Life, the students have often referred to their presentation in the context of their Religion classes or when discussing social issues in other classes. This is clear evidence to support the impact that Generation Life had on the students."
-- H. Margeret Slomiany, 8th Grade Teacher, Mary, Mother of the Redeemer School, North Wales, PA
"On behalf of the entire St. Pius X HS community, I relay our thanks and appreciation for a series of outstanding presentations by your team at Generation Life. Although among our faculty a few 'feathers were ruffled,' your challenge to young men to be chivalrous and young ladies to dress modestly is timely and appropriate event if it is met with opposition."
-- Rev. Joseph Bongard, President/ Principal, St. Pius X HS, Pottstown, PA
"Your visit with our students was very important and the message of chastity that you shared was most valuable."
-- JoAnne Campbell, Director of Campus Ministry, Paul VI HS, Haddonfield, NJ
"Many thanks to you and the members of Generation Life for the wonderful presentations given to the 7th and 8th grade students of Nativity of Our Blessed Lady School during the pat week. The students thoroughly enjoyed the presentations and learned many new things."
-- Ralph Carbonaro, Principal, Nativity of Our Blessed Lady School, Bronx, NY
"Generation Life was a big hit!"
-- Rev. Robert A. Quarato, Pastor, Church of the Holy Rosary, Bronx, NY
"The evaluations we recieved again showed what an important part of the Mother-Daughter Tea program your [chastity] presentation was. Your presentation was greatly appreciated, remarkable, and the clarity and openness of your talk really made a connection with the girls. The mothers were very pleased as well."
-- Msgr. Francis Maniscalco, Director, Respect Life Office, Diocese of Rockville Centre, NY
