Judi Neeld - Director

Judi was born and raised in Philadelphia, the great city of brotherly love. When not directing her energetic team in spreading the awesome news on life and love, she enjoys hanging out listening to live music, playing pool, going to a Phillies game, playing scrabble, or spending time with her family.

She has a pretty large (and loud) Irish Catholic family with lots of nieces and nephews..who are a pure delight. During her free time, Judi likes to listen to talk radio, read, play guitar (and sing), and politely argue over politics and social issues. She has a 14 year old daughter who is fun, curious..and growing up way too fast! Judi doesn't like to cook, so she basically eats to stay alive. She is secretly addicted to clothes...but tries her best not to go crazy..and always looks for bargains! She is passionate about everything she does and loves to laugh!

Helen Mazur - Director of Development

Helen is originally from Southern New Jersey and is the youngest of 7 children. Her 3 sisters and 3 brothers all have families of their own now, so she has 20 adorable nieces and nephews! (Her oldest nephew is 20 years old, and a Marine, so he wouldn't really appreciate being called adorable anymore!) Helen attended Drexel University where she earned a scholarship for Track & Field as a javelin thrower. While at Drexel she met her loving husband Geoff. Geoff proposed to Helen the week before graduation, which was the best graduation gift she could have ever asked for. They have been blessed with a wonderful marriage for 3½ years and hope that soon in the future they will be blessed with a family of their own.

They enjoy bike riding together along the Perkiomen Valley Trail, kayaking, hiking and camping. In the winter they try to snowboard as much as they can when the weather permits! Generation Life has allowed her to fully embrace her life-long belief in the blessing that our human sexuality can be. She hopes to bring this message to all of our current contributors and hopes that by simply telling the Gen Life story our ministry will continue to grow and impact the lives of thousands of young adults.

Matthew Chominski - Grade School Coordinator

Matthew hails form Wallingford in Delaware County. He graduated from Strath Haven HS in 2001 and then from the University of Pittsburgh in 2005 with a degree in Politics and Philosophy.

At Pill, Matt had the opportunity to study abroad in Australia at the University of Wollongong.

Matt spent about a year and a half in formation with the Capuchin Franciscans before he discerned God's will to leave. He has since discerned not to pursue the religious life.

This pas summer, Matt had the great opportunity to help out at the Gen Life senior week beach outreach and get involved in the wonderful mission of building a culture of life.

Matt has been with Gen Life since October. He considers it a great gift to be able to work for Gen Life and battle what G.K. Chesterton called in 1926 the next great heresy: 'For the next great heresy is going to be simply an attack on morality; and especially on sexual morality... The madness of tomorrow is not in Moscow, but much more in Manhattan.'

Christine Friedrich - High School Coordinator

A warm welcome to Christine Friedrich our new high school outreach coordinator.  She is a graduate of Boston College and Archbishop Carroll High School.  She has been active with Generation Life and the pro-life movement since high school.

Here she is evangelizing on the beach during our Beach Outreach.

Cristina Barba - Grade School Coordinator

Back with us again after a 9-month adventure in Rome, Cristina Barba will serve as our new Parish Outreach Coordinator. Now 23 years old, Cristina has been involved with Gen Life since 2001 when she was a student at Archbishop Carroll HS.  She has worked for Gen Life during conferences and was on the summer staff for four years before graduating from Penn State.

Cristina has a passion for working to build a culture of life—especially for working to protect the unborn, supporting and building up women, and spreading the incredibly FREEING chastity message—ultimately serving Christ and His Holy Church.

Cristina was a part of Penn State Students for Life for four years—two of those years she served as president of the club.  Some of the activities they hosted included a weekly prayer vigil at the abortion center which just closed!  Praise God!

Christina is the oldest of four children and loves her family very much.  She loves traveling, meeting new people, and spending time with my family & friends!

George Smith - Chastity Educator

George Paladin Smith is the new College outreach and Media coordinator.  He grew up in the Alexandria, VA area, where he attended Bishop Ireton HS.  He then graduated with honors from Rutgers University Mason Gross School of the Arts.

George performed in various stage, film, and television productions, before co-founding a band, which continues to record and tour the East Coast today.

He has been involved in many volunteer community outreach programs, particularly The Guardian Angels Safety Patrol and The Associates of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal.  As a Guardian Angel, George, using the code name “Paladin” which means “Champion of a Cause,” would patrol the streets of Jersey City, NJ to help deter crime.

As an Associate of the CFR’s George made a monthly commitment to the Friars to help them with their outreach to the poor and their various Christian ministries.  It was at one such Associates day that George met his wife, Nadia, staff writer for the Catholic Standard & Times of Philadelphia.

George is incredibly excited to be a part of Generation Life and looks forward to helping to build an army of young people who believe in life and love through chastity.

“Fight the good fight.” 1Tim 6:12

Jessica Bayer - Chastity Educator

Jessica Bayer was born and raised in West Chester, PA and went to Bishop Shanahan High School.  She graduated from Temple University with a degree in social work, and is thrilled to use her education to help women in crisis pregnancies.

She is the second of six children and wouldn't trade the craziness of a big family for anything.  She loves babies, chastity, and country music, and gets fired up when she talks about any of them.  She is a terrible cook and mildly disorganized but believes totally and completely in the Generation Life Movement and could not be more excited to be a part of it!
